Activities

The Israeli Institute for Packaging and Design (IIPD)   is a public Organization of manufacturers, users, designers and professional in the industrial design and packaging industry. The IIPD's objectives are to develop and to encourage the Packaging Industry and its logistic in Israel.  The IIPD provides all parties involved with a variety of services and activities that are essential to its members:
 
 

• Information Center: Publisher of an online monthly newsletter dedicated to raw materials prices. Publisher of an online monthly newsletter dedicated to latest technologies and marketing trends in the Packaging Industry world wide. Tailor made research projects + consulting and experts referrals.
• Web Site:  Provides a friendly user database with all the content that was published in the monthly newsletters, and a state-of-the-art search engine that enables users to find: manufacturers , suppliers , services , organizations, art directors and designers , news items , professional content , the annual packaging directory of Israel , The Israel Star contest.
• Training Center: The IIPD operates a training center providing courses, seminars and workshops in packaging, industrial design, print, and logistics. The training center also serves as a reallocation platform  for employees.
• R&D: The Institute initiated the establishment of the Users Association that dedicates its activities to packaging technology in cooperation with the Chief Scientist of the Israeli Government. The Association's objective is to encourage the IIPD members to implement new technologies and innovation in the Packaging Industry.
• Publications: The IIPD publishes each year: "The Packaging and Design Directory", "The International Shipping, Logistic and Containership Directory", "Professional Periodical", "Packaging, Design and Logistic" and online paper with selected news items sent exclusively to the IIPD members. Most of these publications are distributed to all key principals in the industry.
• Contests: the IIPD conducts the annually Israeli Packaging contest: "The Israel Star", and the winners are representing the Israeli Packaging Industry in the international contest World Star.
